PERTIMBANGAN MAHASISWA MEMILIH KULIAH DI UNIVERSITAS GAJAYANA MALANG : ANALISIS FAKTOR

Abstrak

The existence of conditions that affect college students choose a college, making the Gajayana University of Malang should be able to complete with other universities, especially in the scope of the area. The purpose of this study to analyze the consideration of students choosing college at the Gajayana University of Malang. The design study used cross sectional analytic approach. Samples were selected by simple random sampling, totaling forty-three students. Twenty-eight variables are variables that conider by students in choosing course in educational institutions, were identified using factor analysis. The first group is named facilities and campus image factors; second group is named alumni and faculty factors; third group is named scholarship and friends factors; fourth group is named costs and transportation factors; fifth group is named discipline and information (promotion) factors; sixth group is named campus locations factors; and the last group is named family and myself factors.
