Abstract
Spatical economics deals with what is where, and why. It describes this kind of analysis when the emphasis is upon alternative locations for specified kinds of activities, sech as industry. In choosing a location, we not only interested in a single-attribute criteria, such as to minimize costs of transportation. Instead, we face multi-attribute decision making. The analytic hierarchy process (AHP) is a method to solve such a problem. An illustration of AHP exercise is applied to determine a location. Due to consistency requirement, the measurement of consistency and the way to attain it is explained.
