Abstract
Transparency and Accountability are the two important factors for the integrity and good governance for an institution in planning, budgeting, procuring and implementing public infrastructure projects.
This research is a descriptive research, which aims to find out how far is the degree of transparency and accountability in the procurement of public infrastructure in Timor-Leste.Emphasizing on these variables, it may draw the attention of the government to be strictly applying the norms and guidelines of public procurement in order to improve public view on Timor-Leste due to the corruption issues. The result of the research shows that only 66% of the respondent from the public contractors agree on the transparency in the procurement of public infrastructure projects while only 58% of them recognize the accountability of the public official who are dealing with the public infrastructure’s procurement.
