Penerapan Budaya Organisasi dan Disiplin Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Dengan Motivasi Sebagai Variabel Mediasi Pada Era Pandemi COVID-19 di Kecamatan Bumiaji
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational culture and work discipline on employee performance with work motivation as a mediating variable at the Bumiaji District Office, Batu City during the COVID-19 pandemic. Organizational culture, work discipline, and work motivation are key factors that can improve employee performance in carrying out their duties, especially in situations requiring adaptation to policies such as Work From Home (WFH). This study uses a quantitative approach with the explanatory research method. Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to 46 employees, and 45 responses were processed. Data analysis was carried out using correlation analysis, path analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results of the study show that both organizational culture and work discipline have a significant effect on work motivation, meaning that a strong organizational culture and disciplined work environment positively influence employee motivation. Furthermore, organizational culture and work discipline also have a direct and significant effect on employee performance, underscoring their importance in enhancing performance. Work motivation has been proven to act as a mediating variable, influencing the relationship between organizational culture and employee performance, as well as between work discipline and employee performance. This research highlights the crucial role of motivation in translating organizational culture and work discipline into improved employee performance, particularly in times of transition like the COVID-19 pandemic.
