Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of empathy on employee performance, to determine the effect of self-control on employee performance and to determine the effect of empathy and self-control on the performance of production employees at PT Bumi Mulia Indah Lestari. The population in this study were 50 production employees working at PT Bumi Mulia Indah Lestari by using saturated sample determination. The results of this study obtained that there was no significant influence of empathy on employee performance, thus the hypothesis was that there was no significant influence between empathy on employee performance at PT Bumi Mulia Indah Lestari. There is a significant effect of self-control on employee performance, thus the hypothesis is that there is a significant influence between self-control on employee performance at PT Bumi Mulia Indah Lestari. Meanwhile, the influence of empathy and self-control on employee performance has a significant influence between empathy and self-control on the performance of production employees at PT Bumi Indah Lestari.
