Komunikator Politik dalam Jerat Kekuasaan Politik dan Hukum (Sebuah Tinjauan atas Praktik Korupsi Para Politikus di Indonesia)

Abstrak

The practice of corruption by political party elites and regional heads is a phenomenon that has occurred in recent years after the reform. As a political communicator who is categorized as a politician, the background underlying this practice is largely due to the abuse of power with different motives. Referring to these facts, this study aims to describe how the theoretical review of the practice of corruption as a crime of power and law is carried out by political communicators, both political party elites and regional heads. As a literature study, the data used are secondary data types that come from various sources, both books, journals, documentation and internet. The focus of the research is limited to literature that provides information related to the corruption of political communicators in the category of elite politicians of political parties and regional heads in the 2011-2013
range.
The results of the analysis show that the crime of abuse of political and legal power through corrupt practices in the 2011-2013 period is quantitatively very high. Likewise from the aspect of the quality of the perpetrators. The political communicators involved are public officials with quite high qualifications, both in terms of position and education. The phenomenon of corruption does not only take place in the center of power but has penetrated into the regions. In fact, the cases that happened to Anas
Urbaningrum, Andi Mallarangeng, Luthfi Hasan Ishaaq, Angelina Sondakh, Nazaruddin as well as those experienced by Ratu Atut, Akil Mochtar and other political cases were the product of the tension between politics and law. On the one hand they are political officials who contribute to the production process and the enforcement of the rule of law, but on the other hand they are victims of the legal products they build and support.
