This study aims to analyze the effect of self-concept on career planning among final-year students at Gajayana University of Malang. The research employs a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 92 students selected using a stratified random sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression to examine the relationship between self-concept and career planning. The results indicate that self-concept has a positive and significant effect on career planning, with a correlation value of r = 0.370 and a contribution of 29.5%, while the remaining 70.5% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. The conclusion of this study is that the higher the student's self-concept, the better their career planning. Therefore, universities are advised to enhance career guidance programs to strengthen students' self-concept, making them better prepared for the workforce.
